This is a first post in a series on deconstructing the work of Kirsten Smit aka Postspectacular. It’s unfortunate that he seems to have gone largely unnoticed in the Clojure community. He’s an inspiration to me on several levels. For one, he’s an incredibly productive programmer that is truly committed to synthesis over composition. The guy prints code. It makes a certain amount of since as he he works a lot on generative art and geometry; he applies the same approach to his own practice. It’s cool to see a truly artistically oriented programmer.
